Art Lead
Nicole Harsh
An Air Force Veteran that is a former graduate of UW-Stevens Point Computer Information Systems and Web Design. Currently an art graduate from UW-Stout for Game Design. Enjoys creating custom textures along with crafting art that others enjoy. Enjoys playing RPG and fantasy video games, reading, and many outdoor activities.

Joshua Gear-Heitman
An Air Force Veteran with a passion for 3D art. Over saw the animations for characters and sound direction. Also assisted in creating props and textures for levels. Been a hardcore gamer since the 1990s. Grew up playing games from Doom to Harvest Moon with everything in between. This has lead him to relentlessly pursue a career in game design.

Cody Jantzen
In charge of the coding side of the UI. Programed the menus while also organized the artwork so that it was pleasing and easy to navigate. He is a big fan of video games. Where a lot of his free time is spent playing video game genres, such as monster catchers , farming sims, and survival games.

Nicholas Maier
Oversaw everything that involved a player's action and multiplayer elements. As a lifelong gamer, his passion for creating games came at a very early age. He's been making small personal games as a hobby since 2020. Outside of games, he also loves music and reading.

Emily Richards
Worked on creating environmental props and set dress the levels to create an interesting and immersive environment. When she's not working, she enjoys playing video games, such as Fallout, No Man's Sky, and Cyberpunk. She also enjoys building LEGO sets and watching movies. She also enjoys drawing and playing Magic the Gathering with friends.

Programmer
Chong Vang
Worked on enemy AI, enemy pathfinding, and other movements. Although he did not grow up gaming, he quickly realized how fun they were and is pursing a career in this field. Outside of work he enjoys gaming along with playing pickle ball and disc golf. Some of his favorite games are Dark Souls and Nier Automata. Besides this he also plays magic the gathering with friends.

Audio Director & Lead Composer
Jackson Smith
Led the audio team and was responsible for composing, recording, and producing MDR9K's main themes. Additionally, he built the adaptive music system in FMOD. He is known online as Dad’s Last Nerve, and his favorite games include Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy XV, and NieR: Automata. When not gaming or writing music, he enjoys playing tabletop RPGs.

Sound Designer / Composer
Noah Ines
Spearheaded much of MDR’s sound design, and wrote and co-produced the title screen theme of the game. An ever-enthusiastic VGM and EDM composer and producer, hobbyist artist, and diehard fan of metroidvanias and platform fighters.

Yi Ling Lu
Worked on the shop music and UI sound design. Besides producing music for games, she enjoys writing for film and exploring different musical genres. Outside of work, she loves playing tennis and binge-watching shows.
